IAAS Local Committee Universitas Brawijaya (LC-UB)
IAAS Local Committee Universitas Brawijaya (LC-UB) was accepted as a Candidate Member of IAAS Indonesia in 1993.IAAS LC-UB has been proposed by Ahmad Sirojuddin (Head of SEMA Faculty of Agriculture) who later became Local Committee Director (LCD) of IAAS LC-UB for the first period. In 1994, IAAS LC-UB was changed to Full Member of IAAS Indonesia. The first activity carried out was the Exchange Program activity, especially in the sending program by sending one member of IAAS LC-UB to Switzerland to take part in an internship program at local farmers for about 3 months.
IAAS LC UB Connect and develop youth potential, With the largest number of members in Indonesia. IAAS LC UB Leading Youth Development & Agricultural Student Association in Malang, East of Java. We are striving to make Agriculture more interesting in the eye of the young Generation in Indonesia by Creating Innovative Projects, Exchange Programs, Developing village potential, and doing creative Campaigns.

IAAS Goes to Experience
IAAS Goes to Experience (IGE) is an awesome event organized by Exchange Department IAAS LC UB
IAAS Goes to Experience (IGE) is a program organized by the Exchange Departement and aimed at college students and high school/vocational high school students in the city of Malang. The program will provide new insights into the world of work by inviting speakers who have experience working at multinational companies and offering participants the opportunity to try out activities a those companies.
English Training x One Day With Native
English Training and One Day With native is a Program held by Exchange department IAAS LC Brawijaya.
This program is a place where you can speak english and learn another country cultures by building connection with native speaker. Participants will have the opportunity to interact directly with native speakers and learn about various aspects of the speakers’ home countries, such as culture, agricultural conditions, etc.
EXPRONAS
EXPRONAS or as known as Exchange Program Nasional is an internship program organized by IAAS Indonesia
Supported by IAAS LC Brawijaya that provides internship or volunteering opportunities by hosting place. This program provides participants aged 17 and above with the opportunity to undertake a one-month internship in the field of agricultural technology, allowing them to gain practical experience, develop professional skills, and broaden their understanding of agricultural practices in a real-world working environment.
IAAS Olympic
IAAS Olympic is a program held by Human and Research Department
IAAS Olympic is an informal initiative organized by the HRD Department of IAAS LC UB, designed to foster bonding and break the ice among members early in the term. Through a mix of fun sports activities, game challenges, and an awards session that all undertaken collaboratively, the event encourages members to get active in a relaxed atmosphere. Beyond just sports and games, this series of activities effectively strengthens interpersonal connections while cultivating a strong sense of family and togetherness within IAAS LC UB.
Spill The Tea
Spill The Tea is a program held by Human and Research Department
Spill the Tea is an interactive training program initiated by IAAS LC UB to address members' limited knowledge regarding business innovation and entrepreneurship, while simultaneously providing a safe space for them to share their thoughts and feelings. Through a combination of interactive workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions led by experienced professionals, members gain insights into business strategies that can be developed for the long term. Uniquely, the session also incorporates a self-reflection component, allowing members to express their emotions and ideas in writing. This holistic series of activities aims to continuously cultivate the entrepreneurial potential of IAAS LC UB members while safeguarding their mental and emotional well-being within a supportive environment.
IAAS Hunt
IAAS Hunt ias a program held by Human and Research Department
IAAS Hunt is an annual event organized by IAAS LC UB as part of the organization’s regeneration and recruitment process. The program aims to attract and select high-quality new members while providing them with a comprehensive understanding of IAAS, its values, culture, and organizational activities. Through a series of recruitment and orientation activities, IAAS Hunt prepares new members to actively contribute to the organization and take on future responsibilities and leadership roles. Additionally, the program fosters solidarity, creativity, collaboration, and effective communication among members while providing the HRD Department with valuable experience in professionally managing the recruitment and orientation process.

This activity carries the latest issues related to social and environmental issues as well as an invitation to voice actions to care for the environment and others. Collpaign (ColleaGlee X Campaign) also functions as a branding product for IAAS LC UB, to echo the name IAAS LC UB and real collaboration with communities, organizations, communities and government agencies in Malang City.
IAAS Anniversary
This event is a celebration of the anniversary of IAAS LC UB and is held every year.
With the holding of this activity is expected to strengthen the relationship between alumni of IAAS LC UB and members of IAAS LC UB as well as between members and members of IAAS LC UB. The activity plan is in the form of eating together, showing behind the scene proker video, games, performances from members, awarding and guest star performance from the faculty's home band.
BINCANG ST x AGROCLASS
Agro Class is an activity organised by IAAS LC UB.
Bincang ST x Agroclass is a two-part program organized by the Science and Technology Department (STD) of IAAS LC UB for Universitas Brawijaya students, particularly IAAS LC UB members. The first series, Bincang ST, is a seminar featuring speakers from companies in the agroindustry sector, providing participants with insights into agroindustrial product management from production to consumers. The second series, Agroclass, is a field trip to a relevant company that allows participants to gain practical knowledge and a deeper understanding of agroindustrial products and processes.
YACT
Youth Agricareture (YACT) is an annual event organized by IAAS Indonesia simultaneously with 14 Local Committees.
YACT is held through a collaboration between science and technology, realized through social action. The goal of YACT is to encourage youth to care about agriculture. YACT is presented in order to educate, motivate, and provide insights to the youth about agriculture. In its implementation, YACT is divided into two events including YACT Goes to School (GTS) and YACT Goes to VCP (GTV).
IAAS Social Campaign
IAAS Social Campaign (ISC) is a program held by Science and Technology Department
IAAS Social Campaign is a program campaign-based program organized by the External Team of the Science and Technology Department (STD) of IAAS LC UB and aimed at the general public. The program seeks to raise public awareness and knowledge of current environmental and agricultural issues through educational and engaging campaign activities. ISC also serves as an introductory platform for the main programs of STD IAAS LC UB, particularly Youth Agricareture, by introducing relevant issues and encouraging greater public engagement with sustainable agriculture and environmental concerns.
Village Concept Project
Village Concept Project (VCP) is a village empowerment program organized by the Project Department
Village Concept Project (VCP) focuses on three main areas: education, agriculture and environment, and community development. In 2026, VCP implemented several activities, including Marketing Socialization for the village’s featured product, DOYAN (orange dodol), through Facebook communities and product photography training with PKK members. The program also included LOPILASAN (Lomba Pitulasan), which engaged children and villagers in celebrating Indonesian Independence Day and strengthening community bonds, as well as AGRIKIDS, which provided children with both theoretical and practical learning about agriculture and the environment.
